It is still in the early spring. The smart roasting workshops in Wangkou Town of Tianjin's Jinghai District are busy with all types of jobs. Automated production lines hum steadily as sorting, roasting, and packaging move forward in perfect rhythm. As plump sunflower seeds, almonds, and pumpkin seeds tumble and crackle in the roasting pans, the sounds are not only a daily symphony of this century-old craft, but also opening notes of Wangkou nuts' way to the world stage......

王口鎮的炒貨產業,有著百年悠久歷史,從最初的家庭作坊、街頭小店,逐步發展成為規模化、標准化、智能化的特色產業集群。歷經百年迭代,當地炒貨人傳承傳統炒制技藝,同時不斷創新工藝、昇級設備,讓古老的炒貨產業煥發新生。如今,王口鎮已集聚300餘家炒貨企業,年產量超60萬噸,年銷售額近百億元,佔據全國炒貨市場約30%的份額,成為名副其實的“中國炒貨之鄉”。
Wangkou’s roasted nuts industry has a history stretching back more than a hundred years. What began as small family workshops and street-corner stalls has now grown into a large, standardized, and increasingly smart industrial hub. Through generations, local producers have preserved traditional roasting techniques while upgrading equipment and innovating processes, breathing new life into an old business. Now, Wangkou is home to more than 300 roasting companies, producing over 600,000 tons of products annually and generating nearly 10 billion yuan in sales, accounting for roughly 30% of China’s entire market of roasted nuts. It has truly earned its title as “China’s Capital of Roasted Nuts”.

憑借多年積累的產業優勢,王口炒貨人不願止步於國內市場,而是帶著滿滿的誠意,將視野投向“一帶一路”沿線各國。王建新是天津藍鑽食品有限公司的銷售經理,他和鎮上的炒貨企業銷售人員一起帶著樣品走訪中亞、中東、東南亞等多個國家,深入當地集市、商超和社區,與當地客商、消費者面對面溝通,細致了解不同區域的飲食偏好、消費習慣和市場需求。
But Wangkou’s aspirations don’t stop at the domestic market. With years of industrial strength, local producers.Have set their sights on countries along the belt and road with full sincerity. Wang Jianxin, sales manager of Tianjin Blue Diamond Foods Co. Ltd, has traveled with fellow sales teams to a lot of countries across Central Asia, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia, visiting local markets, supermarkets, and neighborhoods to meet with local sellers and consumers face to face, gaining a better understanding of local tastes, consumer preferences and market needs.

塔吉克斯坦客商Khusnudjon常年經營當地零食批發生意,他坦誠地提出了需求:“我們更偏愛原味堅果,不喜歡過重的調味,而且包裝要便於攜帶,方便售賣。”王建新和團隊反復調整配方和火候,設計出適配當地審美與流通習慣的包裝。同時,企業迅速調整工藝、優化政策,不僅打造出專屬的原味產品線,還與Khusnudjon建立了深度合作的本地化服務體系。
Khusnudjon, a long-time snack wholesaler of Tajikistan,shared his needs frankly: “We prefer nuts in their original flavor, without heavy seasoning, and the packaging should be portable and easy to sell.” Wang and his team adjusted recipes and roasting temperatures multiple times, and redesigned packaging to match local aesthetics and transportation habits. At the same time, the company adapted its production techniques and policies, building a production line for original flavor only and a deeply localized service system in collaboration with Khusnudjon.

隨著海外市場需求持續昇溫,打通高效、穩定的跨境運輸通道,成為王口炒貨順利走向海外千家萬戶的關鍵。天津市與“一帶一路”沿線國家攜手發力,從貨源組織、集貨發運、口岸通關到境外分撥,一步步打通通往東盟國家的穩定運輸捷徑。
As overseas demand grows, efficient and reliable cross-border logistics has become essential for Wangkou nuts to reach tables of overseas. Tianjin and the Belt and Road Initiative partner countries have worked together to streamline the entire chain, from sourcing, consolidation and dispatch to customs clearance and overseas distribution, opening a stable route to ASEAN markets.
中老鐵路作為連接中國與老撾、輻射東南亞的重要交通樞紐,全程鐵路直達、溫控穩定、時效可控,能夠解決以往公路長途運輸易受潮、易變質、顛簸破損、時效不穩定等難題。依托這條共建而成的國際物流大通道,讓王口炒貨從天津出發,經雲南口岸出境,抵達東盟國家——新鮮出爐的炒貨短短幾天即可直達當地商超,讓當地民眾便捷品嘗到品質穩定的優質炒貨,也為產品持續拓展東盟市場提供了堅實物流保障。
The China-Laos Railway, a major transport link connecting China with Laos and reaching into Southeast Asia, has become a game-changer. Its direct rail service, stable temperature control, and predictable transit times solved the problems of long-haul road transport which in the past often led to moisture damage, spoilage, breakage, and inconsistent transit times. Thanks to this jointly built international logistics corridor, Wangkou’s freshly roasted nuts can leave Tianjin, exit through Yunnan, and reach ASEAN supermarkets within days, allowing local consumers to enjoy reliable high-quality nuts, while providing solid logistical support for the product’s continued expansion in the region.

如今,王口炒貨已走進32個“一帶一路”共建國家,在海外市場收獲了廣泛認可。在塔吉克斯坦,王口巴旦木因顆粒飽滿、口感酥脆、無多餘添加,成為當地家庭的必備零食;在阿聯酋,王口雪白南瓜子因清淡健康、契合當地飲食偏好,佔據高端零食貨架“C位”,成為當地民眾喜愛的休閑食品;在東盟國家,越來越多的當地民眾愛上這份來自中國天津的酥脆風味。
Nowadays, Wangkou nuts are sold in 32 Belt and Road Initiative partner countries and have earned wide recognition in overseas markets. In Tajikistan, Wangkou's almonds, which are plump, crisp, and free of additives, have become a household staple for local families. In the UAE, Wangkou’s snow-white pumpkin seeds, which are light and healthy, to match local taste preferences, occupy the cental place on the high-end snack shelves. Across ASEAN, more and more consumers are falling in love with this crunchy taste from Tianjin.
